Railway freight is divided into complete cars, LTL and containers.  The weight, volume or shape of a batch of goods need to be transported by more than one train and should be checked by the whole vehicle.  Not enough vehicle transportation conditions, according to the LTL consignment;  According to the container transportation conditions can be shipped by container.  According to the LTL consignment of goods, a minimum volume of not less than 0.02 cubic meters (except a weight of more than 10 kilograms), each batch shall not exceed 300 pieces.

Railway freight according to a batch of consigned goods, must be the shipper, consignee, station, arrival and loading and unloading location is the same (except vehicle unloading goods).  The goods for the whole vehicle are one batch per vehicle.  For goods that straddle, climb and use the traveling block, each block is a batch.  For LTL goods or goods transported in containers, each consignment note shall be taken as a batch.  For goods transported in containers, each batch must be of the same box type, with at least one box and no more than the number of boxes that can be transported by a railway truck.  When handling the consignment of goods, receiving, changing or performing other rights and obligations, an international freight forwarder shall submit a power of attorney or a letter of introduction to the station to prove the entrustment.  For consigning any railway cargo, a cargo contract shall be signed with the carrier of the international freight forwarder.

Lianyungang freight forwarders accept goods at the station according to the approved car demand plan and purchase plan.  For emergency rescue and disaster relief materials, materials directly used for agricultural production, fresh goods, articles for theatrical performances, moving goods and other materials that need urgent transportation, priority should be given to transportation.  Incoming services also include LTL.  The shipper of the international freight forwarder shall submit a consignment note to the station in batches when delivering the goods to the carrier.  The shipper has too many names for a batch of consigned goods to fill in or consign the moving goods one by one in the consignment note and there are more than two kinds of goods in the same package, and shall submit the list of goods in triplicate.  The shipper shall be fully responsible for the authenticity of the items entered in the consignment note and the list of goods, and shall also pay liquidated damages in accordance with the regulations when concealing or misstated the name and weight of the goods.

When consigning perishable goods and "short-life" radioactive goods, the allowable transportation period of the goods shall be noted.  The allowed transportation period must be at least three days longer than the delivery period.  When consigning goods, the shipper shall, according to the nature, weight, type of transportation, distance of transportation, climate, loading of trucks and other conditions, use transportation packages that meet the transportation requirements, facilitate loading and unloading, and ensure the safety of the goods.  If there is no uniform packaging standard, the station shall, in conjunction with the shipper, study and formulate the interim standards for the transportation and packaging of goods, and jointly implement them.

When consigning LTL goods, the shipper shall clearly mark each piece of goods.  Check-in luggage and moving goods shall be marked (tags) inside the package in addition to labels or written marks made of tough materials such as cloth, wood, metal, etc.  Railway freight is carried by pieces and weight.  Railway freight charges shall be calculated in accordance with the provisions of the "Railway Freight Rules".  The shipper of Lianyungang's advantageous freight forwarder shall pay the fee on the day the goods are shipped at the departure station.  When the shipper or consignee delays in paying the transportation expenses, he shall pay the carrier the stipulated late payment for transportation and miscellaneous expenses.
